Awakening

​It has been two years since I wrote my last blog. I decided to start writing again because I believe the times we live in require all citizens who are concerned about the direction of this country to be engaged. Additionally, my perspective about politics, religion and myself has undergone a transformation – because of my personal and spiritual growth I want to correct the record on my old way of thinking. This blog will not attempt to keep up with the 24 hour news cycle but instead aim to discuss the underlining issues of race, poverty, religion and education. I hope this blog inspires you, challenge your thinking and cause you to become more active in your community.
